What to Expect at Your First X Treasure Hunt

If this is your first X Treasure Hunt, start with the Beginner Quest or team up with a group on the Advanced map. Every map includes the clues you need, and our pirate crew is always nearby if you need a nudge in the right direction.

Expect a 30–45 minute run for Beginner and 60–90 minutes for Advanced. Most adventurers split puzzle-solving between map reading, clue hunting, and cipher wheel decoding. Bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and keep your phone charged for QR scanning and account progress tracking.

Best strategy: move as a team, assign one person to track solved clues, and double-check each answer before opening your lock sequence.
